Yeh...
It's okay. You only have 5g's more RAM then I do...
Nice setup, not enough room to have sex with the interface.
Why do you have vista...meh 20g's out the window.
So you liked Ubuntu Studio. I saw the progs and I wasn't sure, heard it wasn't as developed as it's grandfather. Kernel's all updated n shit or?
I'm not a fan of Ardour, heard it was the major prog. I'm sure you do all your music stuff on mac huh?
God, I tried the Hackintosh deal, but I have the same cpu as you and it's kind of a big ass kicker to set up.
Did you do the Leo4all, chameleon boot?

lol show off. even tony stark must be jealous of that computer.

but seriously, how does that nvidia (and I suppose that 8gb of ram helps) play with compiz fusion?

Oh it plays well. Very well. I just have to recompile my own kernel if I want updates :). Rendering compiz 3d desktop with transparency is at the very least 60 fps with other stuff going on.

What tony stark has is like a blind, 1 legged puppy compared to this greyhound of a rig. ^-^

recompile the kernel? is that b/c of your graphic card? or some other nerdy thing you did?

because the nvidia drivers from the ubuntu repos don't exactly work with 8800's in SLi as well as I'd like so I have to recompile with the latest driver.. its kinda annoying

you seem to know what you're doing, but have you tried envyNG? it's suppose to download the latest driver for you, and fixed most of my graphic card problems.
